Greetings, my name is EvolGarlic. This is my journal entry for my Tech and Gadgets Journal Entry website :

As you know, wallpaper for smartphones PCs, and laptops is one of the essentials, because even though you love the default wallpaper that came with it, you will need to spice it up with something after a week or days.

Some like the big sporty Ferrari as their favorite wallpaper, and some love the anime-style wallpaper, there are a ton of wallpaper apps that have a ton of wallpapers for you to select and set it.

But what happened when you need a simple wallpaper that will not hurt your eye every time you open the smartphone with too much flashy things? You need a app that have a high quality wallpapers with simple interface.

When I was trying a apps with the potential of good wallpapers, some of them are good, some of them are plainly plain, and some of them are basically bad ones, and it took a lot of time to actually finding one app that simple and has a ton of wallpapers done by professional photographers, which I love, the app name is Walpy

Hi EvolGarlic here from EvolGarlic’s Tech And Gadgets Journal Entry, in this review article, I’ll be review a app that have a ton of wallpapers done by professional photographers and it might be one of the best apps to ever appear in the store, and I apologize if my review is not well-written, as this is my first time reviewing an app.

Walpy App was released in the day of 5 Oct 2017 by a developer called Raviola, the app has been downloaded over 1,000,000 plus times and is required you to have a Android 7.0 and up.

When you download this 21.92 mb app and open it, you will greetings this simple interface :

Of course the homepage contains a beautiful wallpapers done by professional photographers at Unsplash. Com, the app has a ton of wallpapers in different topics such as nature, patterns, film, street, experimental, travel, animal and art.

On the second icon on the bottom bar containing a backdrop album which all the photographer has created.

On the third icon of the bar is where your favorite photo is, but you are not allowed to favorite too many photos due to the premium.

And the last icon of the bar is a setting for the app, which has a unique feature that another app might not have, according to the description of this app, it say :

“Walpy does not rely on fixed-time alarms that prevent your device from getting enough sleep. It lets Android figure out when is the best time to change wallpapers. You can configure constraints to only change wallpaper while your device is:

On a WI-FI network

CHARGING

IDLE

This allows you to enjoy a new wallpaper every day without hurting your device battery, data or performance, there are lots of wallpapers to choose from!”

Even though I didn’t use this feature because I use it for selected a wallpaper only, that feature is pretty different and unique.

But what I consider to be a big feature of this app is a choice of wallpapers to choose, they are all done by a professional photographers at Unsplash. Com, guaranteed to be a banger, for example, when I search a wallpaper in a keyword of “Christmas” you will see these :

And once you find your favorite wallpaper, when you click on the photo you will see the photo in the high quality.

You can download it, or you can set it directly from the app, you can set it just only for homescreen, only for the lock screen or both (but there is a bug in the both screen setting, because the wallpaper will be apply for the home screen, but the lock screen will be a default Wallpaper from your phone system, but this bug might be only on my phone)

But despite the bug, the wallpaper is beautiful and gorgeous like this :

Overall, this app is very unique and authentic, despite the bug, it is worth it and if you want to use it in the more detail, you can pay for the premium price of $1.11 per month or $9 per year) price convert from baht to dollars according to photo)
